HYGIENIC DESIGN

In today’s production environment, efficiency, (product) safety and hygiene are crucial factors.  In the food industry HACCP (Hazard Analysis of Critical Control Points) programs monitor the production process. This requires high demands on a production line. With these demands in mind, Rademaker developed a Pie line suitable for a wash-down environment. The line is designed to meet the highest possible hygienic requirements that the food industry demands.

Some of the design features that we have incorporated in our Pie and Quiche line:

  • Designed for washdown cleaning
  • Manufactured from stainless steel or other non-corrosive materials only
  • Open design; all parts are easily accessible for cleaning. All-stainless steel coverings contain openings for a direct view of the process zone.
  • Corners, recesses, cavities and dead corners are kept to an absolute minimum
  • Smooth surfaces
  • Greasable bearings
